Meet Olga!

I began my journey long ago, in Siberia in the coldest month of the year. From the start I felt that my soul was dancing on the highest mountain, with the radiant star above my head.

About Olga's story

My heritage consists of hundreds of Jewish stories, passed on to me by my mama, grandmother and my aunt. To this inheritance I would add my experience of making a new life in Britain – of births and deaths, marriage and divorce, and surviving it all.

I am also practicing and teaching a body work system Biodanza.

‘The Dance of Life’, Biodanza is a process which improves vitality and well-being over time. There are dances and exercises for co-ordination, for letting go and to relieve the stress. Biodanza is a system of creative movements which was developed in the 1960s by the Chilean psychologist Rolando Toro, and is now loved by people in 54 countries. Biodanza is a dance of joy. Dancing has become a big part of my life since 2010 when I went to the London School of Biodanza training. Every story and visual image and your dreams will be turned into the non-verbal language of simple movements.

Come and release, re-energise. It will elevate your spirit.

Biodanza classes Fridays 7-9.30pm

Hugh Cubitt Centre, 48 Collier St, London N1 9QZ
